He has been involved with Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions, teaching in their Basic and Intermediate courses and as Assistant Professor in their Doctor of Science (DSc) in Clinical Electrophysiology, since 2004. He then took over as the Program Director of the RMU Annual ENMG Symposium in 2019 and continues serving in that capacity.

Mark Simmons
Mark Simmons
A highly experienced physical therapist and clinical electrophysiologist, he has dedicated his career to advancing the field of electrodiagnostic medicine through clinical practice, education, and research. Since 2012, he has specialized in NCV/EMG testing at EMG Solutions, with extensive experience in neuromuscular evaluation and electrophysiologic assessment. He holds a Doctor of Science in Clinical Electrophysiology and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, with advanced certifications in clinical electromyography. His commitment to professional development is reflected through continued education, conference participation, and contributions to healthcare education and clinical training.

A dedicated physical therapist and board-certified electroneuromyographer, he has been serving patients and advancing clinical excellence at EMG Solutions since 2018. His experience spans outpatient orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, post-operative care, and hospital-based physical therapy across a variety of patient populations. Committed to lifelong learning, he regularly participates in specialized electrodiagnostic and healthcare education programs. Outside of his professional work, he enjoys music, language learning, and spending time with his wife and three sons.
John Lugo
John Lugo
John Lugo is a dedicated physical therapist and board-certified electroneuromyographer with twenty-two years of experience performing electrodiagnostic studies. He achieved board certification from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in
2010 as an Electrophysiological Clinical Specialist and recertified in 2020. He has more than fourteen years of experience as a faculty member in an entry-level physical therapy program and has served as a faculty member and mentor in two accredited American Board of Physical Therapy Residency and Fellowship Education postgraduate programs for fourteen years. John has produced thirteen peer-reviewed scholarly articles and conference presentations related to his experience in clinical electrodiagnosis. He has held elected positions in the Academy of Clinical Electrophysiology and Wound Management and was appointed to the Specialization Academy of Content Experts. John continues to share his wealth of knowledge and experience at EMG Solutions since 2022 as the Clinical Education and Residency Coordinator. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family and watching the NY Yankees.
